Sonic & the Black Knight wasn't the best to be honest, and Sonic Team really need to do something to get the series back to form. But what would you like to see? (new style platformer would be something like Sonic Rush.) I'd love to see something like Sonic 3 & Knuckles, a massive old school adventure that did everything right. (In my opinion) |

A massive free-roamer set on an entire Mobius, with zones seperated like countries and intuitive context-sensitive control system that allows you to interact with the scenery as you're running, jumping between trees, swinging off lamposts, running up the sides of buildings etc. Think of it as the Sonic CD opening, but as a 3D free-roaming open adventure with Dead Rising style time limits on multiple missions, the choices of which ones you choose to do in the limited timeframe shaping the plot. Thus time becomes key, and you must race across the planet as fast you can in order to sort out as much crap as possible. |

Something in the 2D plane, but maybe with multiple pathways (think that segment in Apatos Day stage in Unleashed, or LittleBigPlanet) Something that can perhaps be played with multiple players. I also wouldn't mind something visually along the lines of WarioWare Shake or SSFIITHDR |

I'd say a freeroaming RPG with two player co-op and can select and customise skills for each char and head to head for the Wii ofcourse |

It's not hard to come up with a good concept for a Sonic game. What games were successful? All the classic 2D versions and Sonic Adventure right? You would think they would just follow the successful games and stop adding stupid gimmicks. Give us Sonic, with his speed and fast platforming action. No weapons, Sonic and the wind are his own weapons. Also, give us Robotnik as a final boss! No more "supernatural alien like monsters", I wanna go Super Sonic against Robotnik. Honestly, what is going on at Sega Corp? Do they really want Sonic to perish? |

Just do 10-20 levels Sonic Adventure 1 style with Sonic. Tails and Knuckles can be chosen as alternates to the same levels. No bizarre plot. The story is Eggman is a bad man, spank him. Fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap |

PHYSICS. Freeroamer, big open worlds, physics. And control. Black Knight and Secret Rings takes away a core idea of games, the fact that if you don't press buttons nothing happens. Also Ever seen this 3D fangame? The key point for me in that is that even if a surface is at 90 degrees to the ground, as long as you have enough speed you can run to it, up it or across it Which SHOULD be how the focus of speed in a Sonic game is implemented, and not with linear automatic levels. |

I wouldn't mind seeing the Bonus panels from the 8bit Sonics, where you get rewards based on your circumstances. (eg. ring bonus if your ring count is a multiple of 10) |

I think Sonic Team needs to keep working on 3D Sonic as they still haven't perfected it yet. First priority they need to focus on is to re-invent the spindash for the 3D titles as it has become irrelevant lately, a new way to use it with the right physics and making it a core part of the gameplay as it used to be. I actually love Unleashed's gameplay but its too much linear level design, they need to somehow incorporate that speed into a more free roaming environment like the Adventure games. As well we're in a generation that now plays games online, I have no idea why they haven't brought back Chao.... Chao would be a better gimmick as a side thing to do in a sonic game then the Werehog. As well you can trade, battle, race online, I think that would be pretty cool. Also they should try to give the next game some replay value, as all these pointless missions are more trouble then they're worth and we get nothing out of it... Getting rewarded with re-makes of past levels? Do want. Finally, "B3T@ T3$T!NG!".... Sonic Team need to get their heads outta their asses and test the final game before shipping them out.. We're still getting glitches and framerate issues... |
